Mobile phone sat navigation on cars display

Featured Replies

Hi all.
Does any one know if on a MK7 fiesta Titanium spec 2012  you can view your mobile phones sat nav on the cars centre display?
As currently I only get sound through my speakers via a phone jack cable and no arrow display on car display.

Am assuming it's later cars that have this option and you need ford's sd card for it to work and revised head unit?

Nope you cant view your phones map screen, even with the sat nav unit. That unit I'd a standalone sat nav unit that uses SD cards which store the maps. It isn't possible to retrofit this to a pre-facelift Fiesta.

The only cars that let you view your phones map on the display are those with apple car play etc.

You will need an aftermarket radio for that can be done but isn't cheap. Cost around £130 for the adaptors plus the cost of the radio plus fitting if you can't do it yourself
