Help/info required for clear rear sill/door jam protectors

Featured Replies

Long story short, my mother had a bad experience at a Ford dealer getting her new Fiesta.
There were a couple of minor things I pointed out, which I wasn't happy with given the mileage of just 2400 miles. The brake calipers were brand new and silver electroplated just like they came out of the factory, yet on collection, some moron had obviously washed the brakes in acid cleaner, and they were all blackened and ruined. The silver coating was gone and they looked awful. It also had a scrape on the rear bumper which had rubbed down to the black plastic where the reflector sticks out at the corner. Shocking really for such a low use car. Dealers these days dont seem to give a monkeys anymore.

Anyway, that aside, its a 4 door car, and at the rear lower edge of the rear doors, there are these totally clear, protective stickers, on the edge of the sill where the door meets the body/sill. Someone has caught one, and its peeling off and catching dirt. Does anyone know what the official part number for these are, or even what the are called? The Ford dealer got hold of some, but on inspection, they are basically white, and rough, and do not look to be genuine. The ones from factory are basically invisible, and look to offer reasonable protection for that little bit of sill/door jam at the rear. They seem to come in a mild boomerang shape to fit the door jam/sill corner profile. We cannot fit these white looking ones, they look ridiculous, especially on a Copper Chrome car.
