‘13 Fiesta 1.5TDCi engine management issue

Featured Replies

Hi

I’m new to the Forum so apologies if this is  posted in the wrong place.

i recently bought a 13 plate fiesta 1.5 tdci and it’s proving to be a bit of a nightmare. It started with an ‘Engine Malfunction’ message and going into limp mode. Turning off and on resets. It keeps coming back so took to local garage. The error code says boost pressure issue. Garage couldn’t find anything wrong so reset and sent me off.

Issue returned so took to Ford. They narrowed it down to a boost pressure control valve or turbo. Have now had both replaced and the issue is still there.

Feel like I’m wasting good money after bad. Any suggestions on where to go next with this or ideas of what the issue could be? I’m not convinced there’s much point returning to Ford although I’m waiting for a call back?

Cheers

Chris
