Does anyone know how to turn off esp in mk8 fiesta 1.0 version? It is annoying when Im trying to have fun on snow but the car keeps correcting my slides.

Push the Tcs off button next to the hand brake

Is that the same thing as ESP?

Having looked at the question and my answer again...it is not.

ESP is designed to stabilise the car when you oversteer or understeer. TCS as the name suggests is traction control so anything to do with grip and wheel spin and preventing that from happening.
it seems in the Fiesta only TCS can be turned off. Though I wonder whether the button will do both or whether ESP is not something you can turn off anymore

I get the impression you can't turn it on or off.

you can't turn it off , according to the manual , ESP is always on , only TCS can be turned off, but actually I think that both of them are pretty much tied together, I can't understand how technically one of them can be turned off without turning the other one off also  🙂
