Lack of power 2011 1.25

I know this is never going to be anything close to a fast car with the 1.25 engine but over the last few months it feels like it is really struggling for any power. I notice it most when climbing hills or joining motorways. Just seems like it's being restricted some how. The exhaust note seems louder than I would expect. I have always thought that though.  I feel like I'm always driving with my foot to the floor but it never seems to pick up like I'd expect it to.

I have recently serviced it including plugs, but no difference.  

Also on cold start in the morning it seems to have a very unsteady idle for 10 seconds or so but only on intial cold start up.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
