Aux connector don’t work feels like it has no grab

The audio connector in the car to attach iPhone or wotever worked perfectly fine then went to use it a the Jack doesn’t feel like it has no grab to it so no longer works any one no why ie like I put lead in if I knocked the lead it would just come flying out feels like it’s to small for connector but is correct one as I used this all the time what needs replacing etc help someone please

    Does the new jack socket feel like a better connection? Does it “grab” the connector that you are plugging into it? Have you tried other connectors?
