Hi guys,

I'm interested in doing a headunit swap but need some advice. at the moment my headunit is basic, no phone connection / bluetooth etc only aux.

 

I've seen this one for sale and it has Bluetooth etc, mk7 as is mine.

Could I just do a straight swap and expect everything to work?

    No. The bluetooth module is separate and installed above the passenger side footwell.

    That unit also has SYNC from a facelift Fiesta, which your car cannot support. You can find a pre-facelift unit that supports bluetooth, but you'll also need the wiring looms which can be hard to come by.
