Yes, already mentioned the Superchips warranty earlier in the thread. I don't recall anything similar from Revo, though. The only thing I recall is the " money back guarantee" and I think even there they reserve the right to charge for workshop time in removing the software/reinstating the original so you may not get all of it back. 

I do remember they specifically mention that the software will invalidate the manufacturer warranty on directly related components and that certainly VW at least can detect it on the latest engines and throw up a flag (TD1 in VW parlance I think.)
