Was wondering are they interchangeable. I know the drivers side door requires the small hole for the key in the smaller part of the 2 piece handle but was wondering as have a Panther black prefacelift 5 door 2004 LX. And wanted to get 4 new handles preferably color match to get rid of faded black plastic handles. Maybe get them off some breaking STs. Any advice

    Yes the early and later mk6/6.5 door handles are interchangeable I replaced my Tonic blue Pre facelift 2005 faded plastic ones for colour coded ones from a 2007 facelift. Here’s a set of panther black ones going on eBay just now for a decent price, which will fit your car.

    You can also swap out your faded grey thin door bump strips for the thicker colour coded facelift ones
