Help with Heater

Featured Replies

Hi peeps strange one ,only had the car a week but the heating is strange, when i drive i get heat when i stop it goes cold ? sometimes warm ? no clickinh sound as in heater motor flap jamming, coolant spot on.Any ideas please.?

its a fiesta Van sport 2015 mk7 1.5 tdci.

does the temp gauge go down also when heat goes cold?     how long are you stopped for before it goes cold.  on my fiesta (diesel) and my previous one(diesel), if I am stopped with engine running to keep warm when waiting for someone at station etc, the temp gauge goes down and the heater loses heat. This is because these engines are so efficient that on tickover the heat the engine produces is less than the heat being removed by the heater.
