Wingmirror unfold issue

Hi All,

i recently had a wingmirror changed and now they are not folding or unfolding when locking the car on a 2014 fiesta titanium. I have tried resetting the mirrors but with  no luck. The setting for auto unfold/fold when locking is active on the menu screen. Any further advice?

     Was the replacement a powered mirror ?  It's been known for a garage to not supply a power folding mirror because the owner didn't ask!!

    yes it’s a powered mirror. Working fine from the door panel and also now working occasionally from the fob. But not working when unlocking and locking the car from the handle and sometimes from the fob.

    What a headache! Does the mirror feel stiff when folding it in by hand ? It can be done so don't be scared, should feel the same as the passenger side, if not then 'maybe' the inside might be too tight, take the cover off and watch what is happened, is it sluggish when working..
