Now that the scrappage scheme has ended does anyone know what deals ford are going to start to offer (as lets face it they pushed prices up to counter balance the scrappage discount).

I think the current Privilege discount is £1000 so i wonder if that might be increased like it was last year.

If not i wonder how ford are going to try and get people to buy new cars

    There is a new price list and new offers from 01 April.

    To counter balance end of scrappage Vauxhall have announced a new Level of astra and corsa(called Expression),which will retail at £1000-£2000 less than the current models.

    Ford may have a similar plan,

    As an example we have the S-Max / Galaxy and Mondeo prices for the new facelift models. On the S-max they have got Rid of the Edge and on have Zetec, titanium and Tiitanium X Sport

    The interesting thing is this

    List Price on Current S-Max 2.0 Petrol £20934.13 - This is the Basic Edge Model

    List Price on NEW S-Max 2.0 Petrol £20435 - This is the ZETEC MODEL !!!

    List Price on a Current S-Max 2.0 TDCI Zetec £24358.37

    List Price on a NEW S-MAX 2.0 TDCI Zetec £22190 !!!!!

    You can buy a new model S-Max titanium for less than the current models Zetec

    I got went in to ford two days after the scrappage scheme finished and i got over 2k knocked off a Fiesta Zetec S.

    Not sure on the exact discount as i havent picked up the car yet (hopefully tomorrow)

    They are certainly open to giving discounts.
