Hi,

I am new to ford and have been wanting one for ages, i have finally got a 2010 Fiesta Zetec S 3dr.

I am quite tech savvy but i am puzzled because the previous phones in the audio system will not debond, and my Samsung will not pair with the system either 😕

I have pulled the requisite fuse many times, no difference, diconnected the battery twice, no difference.

So i went to my local ford dealer and a tech looked at it and even he was puzzled, then i was told it would be 90 quid to diagnose the issue, not actually fix it.

They say it could be a software issue and it may need upgrading but couldnt guarantee it was that or even that the system would accept a software patch/upgrade.

 

So basically i am looking to the fountain of knowledge here to help !!!

Do a reset in Sync menu

Are you pressing the right button?

Is it early 2010 or late 2010? I'm not sure if/when sync was added to the Mk7.

Early definitely does not have Sync but a separate bluetooth module in the passenger footwell.

I know mine got stuck once, but it was in warranty at the time, the dealer did a software update and I didn't have problems after that.

If it's the separate module, you could try disconnecting and re-conncecting it, incase it's a connection issue.

Hi there, I just find that I can not deboned any device on my 2012 s-max too. Is it a software problem or how I can reset the audio system? It is not a sync.
