Part required Ecoboost 1.0

Featured Replies

Replacing my sons Ecoboost engine. The new engine does not come with the blank I need for what looks like a sensor in the sump at the rear.
The old engine does not have this.

Does anyone know what the blank is called I need to order this from Ford.

Cheers

after some search on the internet, apparently this is the place for oil level sensor, although I haven't heard of ecoboost 1.0 having any oil level sensors but some ecoboosts could have such a sensor, there is also a plug to put in place if you originally don't have a sensor, attached are the pictures of both the sensor and the plug, part number for the sensor is : 2111272 ( Ford Finis number ) , part number for the plug : 1150203

here are ebay links for both parts

hope this helps 🙂

edit : sorry for this , but the screw actually is for fitting the sensor, not a plug to put in place of the sensor , sorry for this ..

in that case I think you have to buy the sensor and fit it in place , even if it will remain disconnected

Thanks very much. My son has a Mk8 and he has blank in place. I think I will try and find one of those. Appreciate the research.

Know this is an old thread now but as no-one else has updated ....

The plug required is ford part number 2160711, a google search shows it available from ford outlets.

Hope this helps someone

Well James I'm not sure what to think 🤔

You joined the Ford Owners Club way back 10th August 2018 and today you have made your first post on a thread that has been dead for 3 years !! Are you sure that part number is correct as it's not the same as the answer that was posted back 21st March 2020 ?

Your profile says that you have a 2019 Fiesta Mk V which would seem unlikely, but there is always a first time.
