Hi,

I would like to figure out which version of navigation is in my car. It says it has SYNC options, but I can't figure out more about it. My main problem with it now, that it won't show the song names with BT. I would like to know if it possible to update it.

    That I think is Sync 1.0 use the VIN number on the Ford.co.uk site to see if any update is available there was not one for mine. You need to look on here there is a guide to swapping out the sync module which is under the glove box. you can get a newer or later Sync module from local scrappy or ebay and you can get the track names on your screen. 

     

    The swap out take minutes and is easy, Sync units are peanuts from scrap / ebay look around. Follow guide on this site

     

    I have a problem I thought with Sync but now I think it is the NAV MFD Low display / mini computer, but mine is 1.1. if anyone knows why my display restarts but only when nav card is inserted.

    It was restarting due to a corrupted NAV CARD
