I've had my Titanium Focus for just over 4 years and at the beginning of the week I learnt something that I didn't know it did. I have a colleague at work who also owns a Focus but his is the next model up, the X ( same year and colour) and when it was hot the other day he pressed and held the unlock button on his key fob and after a few seconds all his windows wound down.

"that's clever" I said, "I don't think mine does that"

"I think they all do" he said " give it a go"

so I did, and it worked!, I may only use it a couple of times a year, but its good to learn something new.

Some of you may recall that I asked for the opinion of the forum on the mark 4, I am still considering upgrading to one, but that all got delayed not only by the current pandemic but at the beginning of March I had a white van undertake me on the inside while I was turning left ( he mounted the pavement to do so) which took my car off the road for almost 100 days because the repair shop had closed soon after my car went in. Luckily enough I had the use of a Nissan Juke hire car until mine was returned. 

I am not expecting much in part exchange now, I had to have 2 new doors fitted and a rear panel repaired and with having squeaky brakes ( still not sorted, gave up after the 4 visit) and with the main dealer loosing my service book my dreams of an St Line X may have to be downgraded to another Titanium. 

Aye, if you have full electric windows front and back then you have the keyfob open/close feature. I find it handy for hot weather before I get to the car or if I forget to close a window.

I had a Merc for nearly 6 months before I learned it had global opening LOL 🤣
