HID H4 to H1 fitment

Featured Replies

I've bought some nice H1 LED bulbs to go in my new projector headlights. From peoples experience they recommend getting HIDs for these headlights as they are much brighter. I have a set of H4 HIDs which I had previously on the old headlights.

They look like this with the ghost shield on them. I'm out at the moment but that shield can be removed exposing the HIDs with no base fitment.

I'm just wondering if I can get this H1 base fitting and fit the HIDs in. The HIDs have a separate plug which operates the high beam function which basically retracts the bulb so it shines more light.

I'm just wondering if this base cover will fit. If so can put the HIDs in as the dipped beam and LEDs I currently have as high beam.
