Hi All

I recently bought a 2012 1.4 TDCI which only came with the spare key. This key only locks/unlocks using the drivers door. I have Changed the battery and been through the reprogramming ( 0 to II 4 times, wait for beep, press lock then unlock (beep not heard), open and close door) with no success. I had a new key made and was quoted £80 to get my spare working remotely again. As the immobiliser chip is still working can I not just buy a  blank key with the circuit board in, swap over the key blade section with the immobiliser chip in and reprogrammed using the method above?

Any help or advice is really appreciated
