Water in Drivers side front and rear footwell - mk3.5

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have only had my focus a few months and have just noticed in the past week that there is water pooling in the drivers and drivers side rear foot well (the carpets are wet through) does anyone know if this is a common fault?

I have checked the door seal to see if its wet, its not, also the carpet going up towards the trim is dry, as is the raised floor under the drivers seat, not sure how the water has gone to both foot wells on the same side without getting that part.

If anyone has had this problem or can shed any light on it I would be grateful.

Steve
