Can 2015 fiesta wing mirrors be fitted to 2011

Featured Replies

Hi

I've got a Nov 2011 fiesta zetec with just standard wing mirrors but both complete units need replacing.

I bought a used pair of extremely good condition mirrors but when they arrived I realised they are from a 2015 model.

I'd already done some comparing on Google before I bought them and the electric block connector looked the same. Luckily before I took the old ones off I thought I'd plug them in to see if the worked and this is when I found out the connectors are a different size on the newer ones.

I did start taking them apart to swap the harnes over from my old ones but stopped halfway through as couldn't face the myther.

Is there any where you can purchase an adapter to make these plug in to my 2011 or is it the case of getting some more.

Thanks
