Got a little too excited cleaning the EGR valve.... help?

Featured Replies

So I have recently come into ownership of a 1.6 tdci focus mk2 (2006) and the turbo isn't kicking in.

According to Torque, I'm getting around 4 psi boost when accelerating.

I've been poking around and decided to check and clean the EGR valve...

I saw for screw on the black plastic housing by the electrical connector and though... I'll just take a peak... what's the worst that can happen.

Well... turns out it happened... and I can't figure out how to preload the spring.

Can anyone help?
