Hi all help needed with my mirror

I have a mk7.5 fiesta van sport love the ***** thing to bits only just got it lol 

the drivers side mirror isn’t just sitting right on the door there’s a gap at the bottom that’s about 8mm wide and the top goes In fine just not the bottom

ive had it off and it made no difference the passenger side is nice and tight 

highly annoying any help much appreciated

    Just checked mine and they are both seated the same.

    It's been clobbered and the pivot arm inside is bent, take it back to where you bought it and get them to sort it out, the whole mirror unit will have to be replaced.
