Replacement bumper advice

Featured Replies

Some low life has rammed my daughter's car and I'm now trying to sort out a replacement bumper.  My question is - can I fit a 62 plate bumper on to my daughter's October 2010 Zetec? I've seen one on line and it looks to be the same shape etc., but just wondered about the fixings.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

As long as it's from a pre-facelift model it will fit no problem. 62 plate was the changeover from pre-facelift to facelift so could be either or.

The big "Aston Martin" grill type bumper is no good for you.

Yes, as Luke says, 62 plate covers the very earliest facelifts with the big grille and the last of the pre-facelift cars. The two look very different so as long as the replacement looks the same as yours, you'll be ok.

NB We're assuming you meant the front bumper?
