Can't play third party apps through USB

Featured Replies

I have a 2011 Zetec Ford Fiesta. It does not have any version of Sync but the software it does have is up-to-date.

It cannot play third party apps like spotify when I plug into the USB, it just skips through without stopping.

Is there anyway of updating the software further to fix this??

Thanks

Someone correct me, but I think Spotify discontinued any association with Ford app link. Only way to get it playing now is over Bluetooth or aux.

Not sure about a discontinued association but spotify does not show on the ford app menu for sure.

Found the link at Spotify here.

On a slightly different note. I get this error when I try to connect to Android Auto. Is it the App or Sync in error?

Both car and mobile device.
Try the suggested fixes and go from there.
