Fiesta wont start

Hi all I went round to lube up the bonnet latch, turned off the engine and when i opened the bonnet there was a buzzing noise from the engine somewhere, I turned the engine back on and it started as normal turned it off and the buzzing was still there I lubbed up the latch and went to start the car and nothing lights all come on radio ect but wont turn over just dead any idea what happened 



You wasted all the battery on an unnecessary second start without any run time for the alternator to recharge... :unsure:

Yeah it could be I have an android unit so that might take a lot of power, what would the buzzing be would it do that as a warning that the battery is flat

Iv also not drove much recently 

Is yours petrol or diesel?  The diesels do a whiny self test after shutting the ignition off, petrols have a whiny fuel pump, totally normal and nothing to worry about.

Yep, charge it up or get a jump and I'm sure it'll be fine again. :smile:

Rac guy came out and done his thing, says its the starter that's gone he bump started it and I dropped it off at the garage hope to get it fixed asap, guys are really busy tho, the smell when he bumped smelled like burnt wires, 

 

Well that's an odd coincidence, I certainly didn't see that coming!  :sad:
