Air circulation after flat batter

Featured Replies

I had a flat battery issue with my car after I hadn't used it for a few months, should have taken it out a few times during lockdown.

Anyway, I removed the battery, gave it a recharge and fitted it back in the car - The car started up fine but I had a couple of problems.

1.) The electric windows didn't seem to automatically go down - I reset these and everything is now working fine.

2.) The only other issue is regarding the air re-circulation setting, I normally have this enabled, but when I restart the car the option becomes disabled again. All the other climate control settings get stored its only the re-circulation that seems to be disabled on start-up. Does anyone happen to know what could be causing this to happen? I'm fairly sure that this was not occurring before the battery was flat.

Am pretty sure air re-circulation is off by default when the car starts, it will remember ac on or off, mine is 2011 and air re-circulation is always off on startup
