Boosting issues

Featured Replies

I have 2014 fiesta ST

MODS:

Airtec stage 2 induction kit

VUDU symposer delete

turbo smart plumb back recirc BOV

when I first start the car and boost the car on 3k revs I get around 15 psi and then the car seems to lose and extreme amount of power and the will boost consistently at 5 psi.
however, even when i am not on boost and  put 100% throttle between 1.5k and 3k onwards I got 5psi.
FYI- I have all turbo sounds WHOOSH the lot.

can anyone please help me out as I have pretty much have no boost.

Hole in one of the pipes?

Has someone fitted an aftermarket dump valve (previous owner)?

Are you sure the VUDU symposer delete was fitted properly? This seems to interfere with boost, so especially if not fitted correctly could be the problem.

This was happening before installation of the BOV and symposer.

Already checked them. One was lose but sorted it out.

I think it maybe wastegate or boost solenoid related

Hmmm could be the vacuum control solenoid on the back of the engine next to the turbo. I've had one fail on a stage 3 fiesta st but this was putting the engine light on and code for underboost
