Rattle and whistle noises fiesta st mk8

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

just bought me a new Ford Fiesta ST mk8 from 2018, and im loving the car so far, however i have been experiencing 2 things that i dislike.

1. whiste noise coming from the engine, or so it sounds - kind of sounds like a screw is loose, or some metal. It only occours when i go past +4000 rpm.

2. some kind of rattle noise from the cabin, i think it's coming from the top panel where you can store your sunglasses - because the sound disappears when i hold my hand on it while driving.

Also, i have experienced various noises from the cabin, but i can live with that - it may be a fast car, but i know that it's in the cheaper end.

Do you know how to fix those 2 things, or has anyone else experienced this and come up with a solution?

Car has driven 40.000 km - i bought it when it had gone 38.000 km.

Best regards

Lasse
