    A quick google search suggests that if you have code 13 then you will have to take it to a ford dealer to unlock, however if you can get back to the “code” screen then you could try this unlocking service, ukbookshelf.co.uk/fordv

    It will cost £1.95 or £2.95 depending on how speedy you want to receive the code, I must add that I have no experience on using this service so do a wee bit of research on the site before paying, I reckon for a couple of quid, it’s worth a punt , should be secure enough using PayPal.

    If you wait an hour it should return to the code screen unless you've already passed that stage?. 

    That's an hour with the radio on though, so I'd suggest driving somewhere or sticking a battery charger on if the battery is a bit weak.
