Rear Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Hello

Im the happy onwer of a Fiesta ST MK8. However, the car does not have rear parking sensors or rear camera. Lately, i've been trying to retrofit these "mod", and put them as "OEM" as possible. The camera mod is possible... With a little work. Aliexpress has a similiar cam and boot switch that works w/ power from the rear light and video via RCA cable... You do need to weld this cable to the Sync cable connector tho (there is a cable pre made for this, but you can do it yourself).

About the rear sensors... You need the hardware of course, the parking sensors and the rear parking aid module. The "No extras" car has a plug in the back, that should connect to the Sensors Module..

However, i've found out that car with parking sensors and camara, have only one cable connected to the module. Cars w/ only sensors have two cables connected... Am I missing something here? Is taht really plug and play? Do the parking sensors connect to the module or is there another plub?

Thank you
