Which engine to buy

Featured Replies

ok so I'm looking at a couple of cars monday... been after a fiesta for a while I'm not made of money so won't be brand new.... here goes..

First one is 1.25l petrol 60 plate 45000 miles.

Second one is 1.6tdci econetic 11 plate 120000 miles.

Which do I go for?

Depends what sort of driving you do. If you stay in the city and do school runs, nipping to town etc. then the 1.25  Petrol is the best bet. If you spend your life cruising in 5th gear on the motorway/ duel carriageways then perhaps the diesel would be better.

Of course there's things like service history etc, condition of bodywork, trim level, optional extras etc. Both are due/ should've had their timing belts done around now.
