2011 ford fiesta battery drain

Featured Replies

Purchased my ford fiesta 11 plate second hand in march. Had a flat battery beginning of June thought this was due to lockdown and not being driven. Had battery and alternator checked and all fine.

Couldn't start again this weekend so changed battery as car still had the original and it was reading 10 volts. Installed new battery read 12.6 volts. Left car overnight battery was reading 12.3 this morning

Did a parasitic drain test and battery is drawing 1.4amps when everything is off (left car for an hour before testing).

Will have to book into a garage but any ideas what could be drawing this much current?

Do the parasitic draw test again but start pulling fuses 1 by 1. Eventually the reading should drop to pretty much 0.

Failed diodes in the alternator
