2013 Ford Fiesta left indicator light comes on on instrument cluster

Featured Replies

I recently replaced all my bulbs on my Ford Fiesta mk7.5 with LED ones from Autobeam. When pressing the unlock button my key fob, the left direction indicator light on the instrument cluster comes on briefly, any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Having all led bulbs in a circuit reduces the overall resistance and causes a residual current.

I suggest you fit a resistor somewhere in the circuit to mimic a standard filament bulb.

You can find ones that are designed to plug in between the bulb holder and bulb.

Be aware that they can get hot so don't position next to a plastic fixture.

Where shall I fit a resistor in my Fiesta as I’m not sure where

Is it suitable to fit to wing mirror?

Should be fine, just monitor the resistors for heat.

Hey,

I tried the 501 resistors that you suggested and they didn't fix the issue
