Fiesta ST Line 2019 Front Fog Light problem

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a 2019 Fiesta ST Line and I was told that the front drivers side fog light wasn't working, though I don't know how long for. I have bought a replacement bulb and eventually after getting access to the bulb swapped them. Before putting everything back together I checked that the new bulb worked, and it didn't.  I looked in the manual for the fuse and couldn't see one so now I don't know if the original bulb was fine, or both bulbs are blown, or it is a fuse or relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

The front fog lights aren't fused on this vehicle, you have a fuse for the headlamp switch (fuse 46 in BJB) if this has blown you won't be able to control your lights at all. I assume if it's blown it will default the lights to always on.

The fog lights themselves get power from the Body control module. They also double up as cornering lights which I assume is also not working on your car? If you turn your engine on and turn the steering wheel on left lock your left fog should light up.

If it's still under warranty I'd recommend taking it to your dealer before playing around with it. Hope this helps 👍
