MK6 Fiesta Brake Judder under light braking

Featured Replies

hi all - my daughters 2006 MK6 1.2 Fiesta this morning started juddering under braking either heavy or light braking

the ABS light has come on the dash as well

what will cause this? and what do i look for first - replacing the ABS/Speed sensors? -

if so how many 2 front or do the rears have them as well?

Many Thanks

All 4 wheels have ABS sensors.  Best thing to do is get it plugged in to pinpoint the fault to one wheel.

Thanks Tomsfocus - can you recommend a plugin Scanning device or do i have to go to a dealer or independent garage

Cheers

Forscan is what we always recommend on here.  Can be used with a laptop or smartphone, just requires an adapter (wired or wireless) which we recommend from Tunnelrat.
