Hi everyone, I have a mk6 fiesta zetec s and it has an issue that is really starting to bug me. Since owning the car, I noticed that when changing gear, the revs hang for a while. My initial thought was a glitch issue so I changed the clutch, release bearing etc. But that did not fix the issue. A couple weeks later, I drove it and parked it and it was parked for about 20 mins or so. Got in and tried to start it and it took a while for it to fire. The next day, it started no problem. A couple weeks later again, the same issue occurred where it took a while to start up. I was recently driving the car and all of a sudden, it started misfiring, the revs were up and down and the exhaust was making a chugging noise. After about five minutes, this stopped and the car runs fine again. It's had new ignition leads, coil pack, plugs. Really confused as to what this could be? Crank sensor maybe? I hope you guys can help, cheers.
