My wife recently bought a 67 plate Fiesta ecoboost..Yesterday she told me that her steering wheel felt like it was trying to lock whilst driving..it happened 3 times on her journey..always pulling to the left.

She is afraid to drive it now..any help please

    Assuming a 67 plate is the current Mk 8 Fiesta, could it be the lane keeping system? These things can be quite violent on the highest setting.

    what you are describing are typical symptoms for steering joint shaft failure, worth checking ( if it wasn't the lane keeping system as @Eric Bloodaxe suggests ).

    it can also make you feel a knock in the steering wheel if the wheel is moved rapidly left and right while the vehicle is stationary.
