Clutch Dual Mass Flywheel

Looks like the clutch is slipping at 70,000 miles on my 2003 Fusion 1.4 TDI. Should I be changing the dual mass flywheel as a matter of course? 70,000 miles doesn't seem a lot? Thanks

Yes, do both, is most of your mileage stop start that would be why your clutch has gone.

In Russia probably yes. In the UK they can be bought from most car part suppliers like ECP's

ok thanks well got the car back today  the clutch is high and kind of overrevs briefly when pulling away, but once in gear it wasnt slipping.

however the engine is so underpowered it doesnt really give enough power to make the clutch slip when on the move.
