Boot Liner for Hatchback

Featured Replies

Is this a thing?

Ive bought a boot liner from Ford (after inputting my reg to make sure only compatible items came up) and went to fit it and it’s way too big for the boot.

I’m assuming I’ve been set one for an estate which presumably has a bigger boot area - but can I get one for a Hatchback?

i have emailed Ford but I’m yet to get a response after a few days

I bought a cheap 1 off amazon a few years ago, only use occasionally so didn't want to pay a lot.

A stupid question, but, does the part No. on your liner match the part No. on the listing you bought from? (Part No. 2304937)

I got a really nice boot liner from https://www.hatchbag.co.uk/ expensive but they're a custom fit.

I'd still like to know if the OP was simply delivered the wrong part! LOL Oh, and the manufactures liner should be a 'custom fit' too! 🤣

So I’ve spoken to unhelpful Ford.

The part number I purchased (2304948) is for the estate, so I’ve had to send it back.

They don’t do exchanges, so I’d have to wait 10 days for refund and order the correct part. I asked if the other boot liner (2304937) would fit a hatchback and was told they don’t make rubber floor mats for the model.

Not sure on the difference between the two part numbers listed above - but was looking for a rubber boot liner as it’ll be easier to keep clean (golf bag, muddy shoes etc) than a carpeted liner.

If anyone has any recommendations for a rubber boot liner that’ll fit a 2020.75 Focus Hatch please post below.

Very annoying Ford ask for your reg on the accessories page and then direct you to items that aren’t compatible!

Just curious - the link you posted was for part No. 2304937, which states it is for the 'hatch' model. If you were sent anything different, that's NOT what you ordered and under UK consumer legislation (remote selling) you are not only entitled to a full refund, but also the shipping cost back as it is their fault.

There are quite a few listings on Ebay for a 'genuine' rubber mat that should be suitable.

Hatchbag don't do rubber bootliners but they do a waterproof fabric one. A lot more expensive than the Ford one. I have one in my estate and would recommend it even with the high cost.

Yeh, you already said LOL 😁

I know, but JDC14 did ask for a recommendation, just thought I'd reiterate 🙄

I thought as much, but don’t trust Ford after they failed to distinguish between Hatch and Estate once I’d entered my reg (which is sort of an essential consideration with a boot liner). I did ask Ford specifically about that part and they said they don’t make rubber boot liners for the hatch (so not sure what the difference between the two is). Waiting to hear back from my local dealership but may give Ford another chance to see how someone else would respond.

In fairness to Ford, they did arrange collection at no charge and DHL came within 48 hours, so I’m no further out of pocket.

Cheers Frowma, will take a look!

Dealer came back and essentially said I was right that the second part number was correct and that Ford must have got confused between rubber boot liner and footwell mats (otherwise it was just completely wrong information).

Ordering tonight and will confirm back in a few days once it’s arrived
