Noise after replacing wishbones

Featured Replies

Hi,

I replaced my front suspension arms yesterday, and got the parts from a local parts shop. Everything went OK removing, I didn't need to take the track rod ends off. The parts I got the guy in the shop said needed to be 21mm ball joints. However one thing of note was that the actual nut for the ball joint needed a 22mm spanner. Is this normal?

Parts fitted OK, just needed a jack to help line the bolts.

However, there is now a grating/grinding noise when driving, which changes when turning the wheel.

Any suggestions? I have checked all bolts for tightness and they are fine.

Have you pushed the dust shield a little and could be rubbing the disc or disturbed some rust off the disc that stuck in by the pads
