Is the 2005 mk II boot spoiler the same as the 2010 one?

Hey guys, I recently sheared the spoiler off my car and I cant find a breakers that has a spare. For context, the only outside damage to my spoiler is a crack in the reverse light but I did shear the plastic bolt pass-throughs off. I popped (using a hammer fist) the spoiler back on as it clips back in without the bolts but this probably isnt the safest thing in the world and my brake cable was torn. I found a guy online breaking a 2005 focus and I'm wondering if the spoiler on his car is the same as mine. Should I wait around for a newer part? Should I macgyver the spoiler back on with glue and just replace the brake light assembly and fix the cable? I can't find the oem part online either.

    I have seen all spoilers listed for mk2 spans from 2004 to 2011, so there should not be any issues with that.

    The 05 spoiler will fit but it's ugly.

    Better off to wait for one that matches your original.

    Thanks, I'll hold off and wait until I can get a newer one or a painted zetec one.
