Ford Focus mk2 2008 sedan

Featured Replies

Hi, I own a Ford Focus mk2 2008 sedan. It has been to the workshop a couple of times recently and got a new battery and fixed a tight fuel filter. After that it has run just fine without any problems, but recently it was very cold outside as it has been a week or two so the battery was empty. The car started for a couple of minutes until the driving lights turned off and the instrument lights turned off. Found that the battery on the car had 11.25 volts. I charged the battery up to 12.8 volts and left it overnight. When I was going to turn on the car again the next morning, the ABS and Anti-skid warning lights turned on when I tried to turn on the wipers. The steering wheel had also locked. The warning message Vehicle power steering malfunction appeared on the dashboard.

Anyone have any idea or experience with this?

All help is appreciated!
