Just need some advice.

Does the sound in this video indicate a bad starter?

Would appreciate any advice.

I got someone to crank while I was under the car and it sounded like it was coming from the starter.

 

Use to start but now it doesn't!

    Sounds like the gear on the starter isn't "shooting out" and engaging with the flywheel. Basically your motor sound like it's spinning, but it's not driving anything.

    Going to take the starter off today and have a look. Hopefully this is the case!
