Fluctuating Torque

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New to this forum and I've come here with a problem. I've just taken my 1.6TDCi 115HP for a remap and the torque curve as you can see is fluctuating. The best power we could get was 130HP. I know a lot of people get these cars remapped and see well over 140HP easily and with stable torque curves so I'm wondering what could be causing such a fluctuation?

Has anyone had any similar issues and might be able to guide me in the right direction? I've checked everything over by eye and can't see any obvious stuff.

Cheers all,

Ross

I'm no inspector clouseau, but perhaps from looking at that photo it could be "Boost/MAF issues, fit stock air filter" 👀

Hi mate, yeah this is the first dyno run I did with my tuning guy, we fitted stock air filter checked for any leaks and still nothing. Unplugged the maf nothing, checked fuel pressure nothing.

I'm stumped, he's stumped.
