powerfold

Featured Replies

hiya guys i have a 2010 titanuim i have powerfold mirrors that work with button in the car but is there any way to make the powerfold off the key???

Late Mk2 facelift yes?  There's no simple way to do it via dashboard settings.  But you can do it via an expensive piece of software (NOT Forscan or ELMConfig).  I can't remember the name of it annoyingly, but a guy on the ST forum used to post his out for a small fee.

yes mines a late facelift and cheers for the reply and info buddy

No worries.  It is a bit annoying as the Mk3 uses exactly the same mirrors but they were programmed to fold on the key as standard.  It was one of the things I meant to do on my Mk2 facelift but never did get round to it before buying a Mk3.

tell me about it why didnt they leave it like the mk4 mondeo u only had to change door module

Hi, If it's not in your setting menu on your cluster then it will probably need configuring in the BCM using a program like Forscan and a suitable cable connected to you OBD port
