Missing compass on focus digital display

Recently purchased a new focus st line x 155bhp mveh...and realised it doesn’t have a compass in the digital display...anyone realised this...is it there but settings have to change to show on screen...can anyone help...

    On some versions of the 12.3" dashboard there is a N,S,E,W etc. displayed to the left of the mileage under the speedo. Mine doesn't do that, but it is displayed in the bottom left of the satnav window on the sync 3. I can't find any option to turn it on in my dashboard so maybe it's model/region specific?
