Galaxy and S-Max drivers seats

Hi all,

I recently bought a lovely 2011 Galaxy 2.2 TDCi auto TitanuimX as an upgrade from our 2008 S-Max 2.0 TDCi auto Titanium. I am delighted with the new car except for one thing. The driver's seat! The Galaxy has leather seats (S-Max had cloth), and whilst that may not be the issue, I cant seem to get comfortable at all. They look very similar, but I find the Galaxy seats to be less supportive and not nearly as good as my old cloth seat. Not being able to find the ideal seating position is souring an otherwise great purchase. Has anyone else experienced this?

So I guess this leads me to a crucial question...are the S-Max and Galaxy drivers seats interchangeable?

If so, I'm considering swapping my Galaxy's seat for an S-Max drivers seat (I like the look of the S-Max Titanium X Sports seats or the leather/alcantara seats but have no idea of they are as comfy as the regular cloth seats in my old S-max)

Any ideas welcome...

Hello,

Did you get any further with this please? I've got exactly the same issue. Got a Galaxy with leather interior - wife doesn't find the seats comfortable! Smax seats seem more readily available so a swap would be ideal

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello all

I have just purchased a 2014 galaxy, and after a week of driving, the seat is causing a lot of pain in my lower back, as I have a vertebrae that sticks out and the lumbar support is too hard even when slacked right off, I would be interested in swapping the seat, and heard the Smax may fit - is this correct ?

Also do Seat alhamera fit ?

Thanks in advance of any help
