parasitic battery drain

Featured Replies

2007 focus battery drain

i purchased my sons focus and 2 weeks after the battery started going flat over night.

over the next 2 months or so it went flat about 4 or 5 times until it started to go flat every night its a keyless entry system so doing a parasitic test is a nightmare.

did a parasitic test but failed to find the fault, but knowing about the dashboard faults decided to have my dashboard re soldered ( only cost me £20.00 ) and he presto job done

I think the key detector system wasn't turning off and draining battery over night.

just to let you all know

Who the hell does all the work on re soldering the instrument cluster on a Mk2 for £20?? The electric for the soldering gun would cost more LOL 😁
