In case anyone was wondering, Volvo Zaurak alloys fit perfectly on a MK2.5!

Volvo or Ford ??

Between 1999 and 2010 The Ford Motor Company owned Volvo - Maybe thats why they fit so well 😀

As a result the MK2 Focus and Volvo S40/V50 of the same era were also based on the same chassis and share a LOT of parts.  At one point I'd got my eye on a lovely S40 R-Design Sport, but the factory fitted stereo can't be easily replaced so that was a no go. :wallbash:

Great idea! I've seen the outside surface of wheels wrapped before, but never the inside...

Hi Bert,

Looking at popping on 17"s from a volvo to my Ford Kuga, I see some people mentione the center bore differs, any confirmation from your end or did you use hub-centric rings?

Hey, sorry for the delay, I think both your Kuga and most Volvos use 63.4mm center bore, there's a website to check just that, it's called wheel-size.com! I didn't need to use any hubcentric rings or anything like that, just popped off my stock wheels and got the Volvo ones on, they're even the same offset!

Volvo wheels do have 63mm centres, as such i ordered plain gel covers once i'd had mine sprayed black, then put 215/50/17 boots on it

As the old saying goes from that era; "do as Ford; buy Volvo!"😂
