coolant Tank

Featured Replies

Hi
First of all sorry if this is in the wrong section as this is my first post, I got a 2014 FORD FOCUS 5Dr Estate 1.6 TDCi DPF SS 115 EU5 Titanium Navi 6Spd a  couple months ago while checking under the bonnet i noticed my coolant was near enough empty, I filled it up.Drive around and again I noticed  that the coolant had gone down quite abit,my Local mechanic fitted a new tank, but the tank keeps getting empty. The car been check up but they cant find anything wrong with it!
I was hoping to hear from somebody here to see if they had the same problem and got them resolved,or any thoughts to resolve the problem.
Cheers

Is the carpet wet on your drivers side? (If so, symptom of leaking heater matrix - not good news!)

I'm guessing that you know that the coolant expansion tank is only supposed to be about half full. Your not over filling it past the 'Max' level indicator ?
